Guest Comments: Huge, beautiful lake.  Worth it to just come and explore.  I've been doing fly-ins for 20 years and as usual, Lucas and Nicole served up a great time.  We had perfect weather for it, one day of boomers and on/off rain.  Didn't get any trout but boated lots of smallmouth in the 14-19" range.  Walleye were hard to find but were all eaters... caught most fish on Mepps and deep-diving raps near rock reefs.  Lake is so big we did a lot of trolling, sitting still in one spot not as effective.  Made it to Sakwite Falls and it was worth the trip.

Lake: Sakwite Lake

Dates: 5/29 - 6/4/2017

Group Name: Rhudy

Guest Comments: Great time had by all. Enjoyed another trip with the Adams family. Smallmouth were just starting to come on the nests at the end of our trip. Caught plenty of walleye to eat and after 30 years of fly in trips we finally scored on catching some lake trout. They are one of the strongest fish we have every caught. All the lake trout caught were to large to eat. We had a wide range of weather from cold, rainy, windy, and hot. We will be back again.

This family run paradise should be on everyone's bucket list. Every family member of this operation is very kind, honest, helpful, and HARD workers. Will definitely come back to GNO!!!

Thanks!

Lake: Kinewan Lake

Dates: 5/29 - 6/3/2017

Group Name: Robbins

Guest Comments: Another wonderful trip to Kinewan. Weather was unstable starting out, but then perfect.  Fishing was a bit more challenging than years past, but that’s probably because it has always been so good. We found a few congregations of walleyes that were productive and scattered singles.  Leeches and pink and orange twist tail jigs were our go to baits. A number of fish caught right off the dock.  Not great numbers, but more than we could eat. And we ate walleyes every day. Bass were active. Northern erratic, but exciting as usual. Accommodations were great, as they always are.  It is undoubtedly the best week of every year. Already planning our next trip.

Guest Comments: Fishing was great off the dock, 20+" walleyes every evening. Lindy Rigs were the go to tackle along the rocky shores for eyes. Smallies were plentiful on top water around rocky points on the cloudy days with multiple 18-20" fatties. Over all great experience and great accommodations. Gateway North is a must if heading to Ontario.

Lake: Dogfly Lake

Dates: 5/17 - 5/21/2017

Group Name: Scearce

Guest Comments: Dogfly never really disappoints .
Wed and Thursday were exceptional fishing days !!
We caught over 40 bass 16-19 inches all day long. We had 4 smallies that pushed past the 19" mark but not quite 20. Lots of trout casting spinner baits of all things. A dozen Northern with the largest being 36".
Front came through Thursday evening with 15-20 mph wind gusts and a temp at night of 34 degrees. It was cold and blustery Friday and Saturday and fishing was slow. All in all we had 2 days that most fisherman don't see in a week.
Thanks guys as always
