Life is good.

Lake: Grant Lake

Guest Comments: Fishing was good the first day - lots of good smallies, a great 30-inch trout, good size northerns - all over the lake, but best luck right across the cabin near the Manitou rapids and under the Manitou rapids.  Weather moved in that night and fishing slowed down the rest of the week, but below the Manitou rapids was automatic all week.  Guys to did the Napanee portage loved it - good action there all week.  Great camp, gear, cabin - as always a first-class outfit.  We will be back next year!

When weather permitted fishing was great. North end of lake better than South. Bass were all pre spawn and caught mainly on top water, crank baits, and jigs w/ leeches. All walleyes caught on jigs with leeches. Big walleyes(20-24") caught in main body of lake 13'-20' deep off points. Northern fishing was tough with only one going over 30".
